Human Resources and Project Management: An Evolving Trend
This is a special event for college students to network and learn more about SRKA. Additional details about room location will be shared once finalized. Register early as we are only able to accommodate 60 attendees at this location.
All HR professionals participate in projects of one kind or another, from hiring and training executive teams, establishing new hybrid work process, or implementing a new HCM system. These critical HR initiatives require effective human resources project management that involves coordinating many different stakeholders to reach a common goal.
In this session, we will look at why project management is important for human resources professionals. Specifically, we will:
- Examine how the evolving nature of HR increases the need for project management skills.
- Identify leadership skills that are necessary to be an effective Human Resources Project Manager.
- Examine Project Management and HR career advancement.
