How to Effectively Recruit Veteran Candidates

Ann Schueller will lead a discussion on the challenges of effectively recruiting veteran candidates.  She will touch on what types of activities produce highly skilled veteran candidates and what that activity looks like from the point of view of the veteran.

As a group, we will discover:

  • Why it is important to construct a program specifically targeted to veterans
  • How to recognize the different stages of a veteran’s transition
  • How to get veterans to respond to your job postings and apply
  • Essential interviewing techniques to assess skills
